The short version
- We collect what you give us, and what your business systems give us once you connect them.
- We use it to do the work you hired us for. That is the whole point of having it.

- This site uses cookies so we can tell which ads bring people here. You can turn that off.
- Ask us to delete your data and we will, inside 90 days, minus anything the law makes us keep.

SECTION 01Who we are
Kixik Technologies LLC is a Florida limited liability company. We run a data team for small and mid-sized businesses. Our clients hire us, connect their business records, ask us questions, and we send back answers and finished work.
In this policy, "Kixik," "we," "us," and "our" mean Kixik Technologies LLC. "You" means anyone who visits our website, books a call with us, or works with us as a client. "Services" means our website, the client rooms at office.kixik.tech, our email correspondence, and the work we do for clients.
By using the Services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.
Your signed engagement letter also covers confidentiality and how we handle your data. Where this policy and your engagement letter differ, your engagement letter governs. This policy never reduces a promise we made you in writing.
SECTION 02What we collect
What you give us
- Contact details. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, and role, when you book a call, fill out a form, sign an agreement, or write to us.
- Business details. Your industry, roughly how big the business is, what you are trying to work out, and anything else you tell us about how the business runs.
- Your business records. Sales, costs, customers, inventory, payroll, marketing spend, and any other records you connect or send us so we can do the work. This is the material the work is made of.
- Billing details. Handled by our payment processor. We never see or store a full card number.
- What you write to us. Emails, messages, notes, and anything you send in the course of working together.
What we collect automatically
- Site usage. Pages viewed, links clicked, the page you arrived from, and how long you stayed.
- Device and connection. Device type, operating system, browser, IP address, and the rough location that IP address suggests.
- Server logs. Access times, requested addresses, and error records.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 5, which covers this in full.
What we get from others
- Ad measurement services, which tell us that a visit came from one of our ads.
- Public business records, which we read before a first conversation so we arrive knowing something about the business.
- Sign-in providers, if you use one to reach a client room.
What we ask you not to send
Please do not send us patient records or health records. We are not set up to hold them. If any reach us by accident, we delete them and tell you.
SECTION 03How we use it
We use what we collect to:
- Do the work you hired us for, which means reading your records, computing answers, checking them, and sending them to you.
- Run and secure the website and the client rooms.
- Set up your account, take payment, and keep billing straight.
- Answer your questions and send you what we owe you on schedule.
- Send you notices about your account, this policy, or our terms.
- Send you marketing email, if you asked for it. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
- See which ads bring people here, so we know what to keep paying for.
- Spot fraud and unauthorized access, and meet our legal obligations.
- Get better at the work, using combined records with names and identifying details removed.
We never use one client's raw data to answer another client's question. What travels between clients is skill: the approach that found something once, applied fresh to different numbers. Your records stay yours, and we never hand them to anyone else to learn from.
SECTION 04How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, and we do not give it to anyone to use for their own purposes.
We share it only in these situations:
Companies that help us operate
We use outside providers to run the business. They may handle your information only to do the job we hired them for, and they are bound by contract to protect it. Our Security page names them.

When the law requires it
We may disclose information if a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or government request requires it, or where we reasonably believe it is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kixik, our clients, or the public. If the law ever asks us for a client's information, we tell that client first, whenever we are allowed to.
If the business changes hands
If Kixik is part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will tell you if that happens and if it changes how your information is handled.
When you tell us to
We share information for any other purpose only with your permission.
Combined and de-identified information
We may share information that has been combined or stripped of identifying details, where it can no longer reasonably be used to identify you or your business.
SECTION 05Cookies and tracking
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We use a few, and we would rather tell you exactly which than leave you guessing.

Advertising, in plain words
We advertise on Meta, which runs Facebook and Instagram. To know whether those ads are worth
the money, we run Meta's measurement tag on this site. It sets cookies named _fbp
and _fbc, and it tells Meta that a browser visited this site and which pages it
saw. Meta may connect that to a Meta account and use it to measure and target advertising.
We do not send Meta your name, your email address, or anything from your business
records.
The notice at the bottom of the screen
The first time you visit, a small bar appears saying we use cookies. Tapping OK stores a preference cookie so we do not ask again for 12 months. That bar is a notice, not a gate: tapping OK is not required, and the measurement described above runs whether or not you tap it. The controls below are how you actually turn it off.
How to turn it off
- In your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies will stop parts of the site from working.
- At Meta. Your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account control how Meta uses activity from other websites.
- Across the industry. optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com let you opt out of many advertising providers at once.
- By asking us. Write to data@kixik.tech and we will handle it for you.
Do Not Track
Browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal, but the industry never agreed on what it should mean, so we do not act on it. The controls above do work.
SECTION 06How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it to run the Services, meet our legal obligations, settle disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- While you are a client, we keep your records so the work stays continuous. A question you ask in month nine is often answered with data from month one.
- After you leave, we keep your records for as long as needed to close out the engagement and meet legal and tax obligations.
- If you ask us to delete, we delete or strip identifying details from your personal information within 90 days, except anything the law requires us to keep. We confirm in writing when it is done.
- Combined, de-identified records may be kept to improve how we work. These cannot reasonably be tied back to you.
SECTION 07How we protect it
We ask only for read-only access to your systems, encrypt data in transit and at rest, keep every client's records walled off from every other client's at the database level, and limit internal access to the people who need it. Our Security page sets this out in detail, including what we have not built yet.
No system on the internet is perfectly secure. We work hard at this and we will not claim it is impossible for anything to go wrong. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you promptly and tell you what we know.
SECTION 08Your choices
Whatever state or country you are in, you can ask us to do any of the following. Write to data@kixik.tech and we will answer.
- Tell me what you have. We will tell you what we hold about you and where it came from.
- Send me a copy. We will send it in a normal file format you can open.
- Fix it. We will correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it. We will delete it, subject to Section 6.
- Stop the marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link, or just tell us. We will still send notices about your account and this policy.
- Stop the ad tracking. See Section 5.
- Appeal. If we turn a request down, tell us and a person will look at it again. We will write back with the outcome and the reason.
We will not treat you worse for asking. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, so that nobody else can make these requests about you. We answer inside 45 days, and we will tell you if we need longer.
SECTION 09California residents
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and where it goes, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising any of those rights.
We do not sell personal information. We do share limited site activity with Meta so we can measure our advertising, and California law counts that as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. To stop it, use any of the controls in Section 5, or write to us and we will handle it for you.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
To make a request, write to data@kixik.tech. You may name an authorized agent to act for you. We will confirm we received your request and answer inside the time California law allows.
SECTION 10Other US states
Several other states, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others, give residents similar rights to know, correct, delete, get a copy, and opt out of targeted advertising.
We extend the rights in Section 8 to every US resident who asks, whether or not the law where you live requires it of a company our size. One address, same answer: data@kixik.tech.
SECTION 11Europe and the UK
We serve businesses in the United States and we do not market to people in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. If you are there and you deal with us anyway, this is how it works.
We handle personal data because we need it to perform our agreement with you, because you gave us permission, because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting the business, or because the law requires it.
On top of the rights in Section 8, you may object to handling based on our legitimate interests, ask us to restrict handling in certain situations, withdraw permission at any time, and complain to your data protection authority. If we move data out of your region we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
SECTION 12Children
The Services are for businesses and are not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we find out we have, we will delete it.
SECTION 13Other sites
Our site links to other companies' websites. We do not control them and this policy does not cover them. Read theirs before you hand anything over.
SECTION 14Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as the business changes. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If a change matters to you, we will email our clients rather than let you find it on your own.
Using the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
